Chickadee is a very secluded mountain cottage situated in the heart of
Shenandoah Valley, Virginia (90 minutes from Washington DC area) in a quiet
wooded 3.5 acres of land. This chaumiere is beautifully furnished and equipped
to make your sojourn more enjoyable and carefree. Guests are only asked to
bring their own queen size linens and towels; they are also available for an
additional fee. The kitchen is supplied with all utensils possible including
coffee & creamer, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, salt, vinegar, variety of spices,
cooking oil, etc. This beauty is created for those who want to break away from
home and work at any desired time of the year.
Features and Activities
Chickadee is also ideal for honeymoons, anniversaries, romantic getaways, and
family vacations. It is cozy for two, and large enough for six people. Choose
your favorite season; each one has something special to offer in the Valley.
Book your reservation in advance, and come experience the tranquility of Shenandoah
Valley.
Luray Caverns, fishing, swimming, Mountain hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, tubing,
and golfing are all nearby.

Rates
In season are Spring through Fall and all Holiday Weekends
$175 each for the first two nights, any additional $140 per night.
Off-season discounts, specials are also available, two nights minimum stay.
50% deposit is required upon reservation and balance to be paid two weeks prior to arrivals.
Two-week cancellation is required.
Check in is 3pm and Checkout is 11am
8.5% local tax on rentals.
Long weekend is 3 nights minimum stay.
