Property Description
The Cabin in the Pines sits halfway up a mountain in Western North Carolina close to the
Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The great room is light and airy with plenty of wood
and glass. A stone fireplace gives the great room a "down home" feel. The chalet has an
800-foot wrap around deck with hammock and Weber grill. The loft has a master bedroom with
private bath. Everything you need is furnished for you, and the cabin has been
professionally decorated to make it an appealing place to spend a holiday. From the
cabin, you can pick berries right outside your door, hike to the Appalachian Trail,
or fish down at the creek.
Features and Activities
We are less than an hour from Harrah's Casino in Cherokee, the Cherahala Skyline,
Joyce Kilmer National Forest, and other mountains destinations. We are less than 15
minutes from whitewater rafting, music venues, horseback riding, etc. Looking out your
window, you might think you're in the most secluded spot in the mountains, but a short
drive will bring you to restaurants, grocery stores, flea markets, craft shops, and just
plain fun!
