This "Cool Island" style house is for the big family or large group vacation. Ocean view
with Jacuzzi and outdoor open-air bamboo shower. Only steps to beautiful beach... The whole
house has the feel of a tropical escape, using natural building materials, bamboo furniture,
wood, Italian stone tiles downstairs, colors of blues, greens and palm tree browns.
Upstairs has redwood walls and Pergo wood floors. Two queens beds and eight wooden twin
beds. One queen in the lanai room is made of rare Bali solid bamboo wood. Two kitchens,
a barbecue, and two refrigerators: the upstairs and downstairs units can be rented
separately. Two decks for dining and watching the ocean. Two hammock chairs for your
reading your favorite vacation novels. This island dream home is for those who want to
get away from the tourist scene of Honolulu and wants to enjoy the peaceful untouched Hawaii
of the North Shore beaches, and small town ambiance. 50 feet in front of the house is a beach
and 50 feet behind the house starts a series of world-class tropical hiking trails that
wind into the Koolau Mountains!
Features and Activities
Imagine walking from soaking in the ocean straight into your outdoor bamboo hot shower,
naked to the sun and tropical showers (just like on Gilligan's Island) then right into your
own private hot Jacuzzi. All the while your BBQ is grilling fresh fish.
The Island House in only minutes from the most famous beautiful beaches such as Pipeline,
Waimea, Sunset beach. It is 5 minutes from the most famous Polynesian experience: The
Polynesian Cultural Center. Almost as impressive 15 minutes by car are the Waimea Waterfalls
and botanical gardens. 10 minutes away is an excellent golf course the Turtle Bay Hilton
golf and tennis resort.
