A Coconut Hut by the beach is a truly tropical island style lodging, for the adventurous types. It is a clean and charming freestanding cottage off on a side dirt road, not on the main hwy. You can walk to the beach in less than a minute. It is the guest cottage on the same property with the owner's home. They are next to each other, but not attached. There is beautiful landscaping of all kinds of tropical plants, flowers and fruit trees on the property and also between the two houses so that you can barely see them. There is a privacy hedge around the whole property. The owners are a couple in their 40's who are very mellow and quiet. They totally respect the privacy of the guests that stay in the Coconut Hut.

The Coconut Hut is perfect for honeymooners or long time sweethearts. You can experience quiet nights in a comfortable queen size bed, surrounded by pleasing beach and nautical decor. A kitchenette for light cooking includes a microwave, 2-burner hotplate, pots and pans, toaster, half size fridge, coffee maker, dishes and other amenities. There is a covered porch with a table & chairs and a BBQ to grill some fresh island fish. A private, covered hot outdoor shower leads into you bathroom, so you can rinse the salt and sand off coming in from the beach. The Coconut Hut is a non-smoking zone.

A Coconut Hut by the beach is a freestanding studio cottage located on Anchorage Point in Ha'ena on the north shore of Kauai. It is tucked away on a side dirt road, not on the main hwy, a mere 200 feet from the beach. There is great snorkeling and swimming on the beach right out front. You are a 10-minute drive from the sleepy town of Hanalei, where you will find an abundance of restaurants and stores to fill all your shopping needs. Just 3 minutes in the other direction leads you along some of the most scenic snorkeling beaches to the end of the road, the gateway to the spectacular Napali Coast.
