 This is the west side of our home. In the summer, the property
is filled with beautiful wild flowers.
Property Description
Many of the locals call our home "Forest Haus" because of its European alpine
look and wooded privacy. Our home is on a county maintained road. It is plowed
for snow often and our driveway is plowed by a conscientious, snow removal
service. The house is 2000+ square feet of living space. The Boreas Pass Cross-Country Ski
Trailhead is virtually right out our front door (starts about 50 yards down from our home).
If you cross country ski, it is heaven. There are awesome views along this trail and it
is a hiking and biking trail in the summer months.
We would like to extend to you the opportunity to be a guest in our home. It is a
vacation home for our family and we maintain our mountain retreat as a home rather
than a rental property. You may wonder, "What is the difference between a private
mountain home and a rental property"? The core difference is the level of care,
the attention to detail and the ambiance that can only be created from "pride in
ownership". When you become our guest, our home becomes your home. Nothing can quite
substitute for this feeling or the real benefit you derive from having YOUR "home away
from home" in the resort community of Breckenridge, Colorado.
Features and Activities
The mountains are a lot closer than they look. Our home sits 1000 vertical
feet above the town of Breckenridge. We look across at the ski area. Our home
is on the east side of Main Street and the ski area is on the west side of
Main Street. From our door to the Peak 9 parking area (middle of town) is a
3.5-mile drive down the mountain (less than ½ mile as the crow flies). The
ski area forms the backdrop behind the trees of our property line.
The home is very private yet only minutes from town where there is plenty of
action to fire you back up. Breckenridge is an excellent place for a romantic
getaway, a family vacation, or even a corporate retreat!

Summer rates range from $195 - $325 per night.
Ski season rates range from $245 - $550 per night.
Off-season rates range from $145 - $250 per night.
Minimum stays range from 2 nights to 7 nights depending upon the time of season.
