Enchanting Spanish Villa with Tropical Gardens

Relax and enjoy your stay in this spacious Santa Barbara style Spanish Villa. This is the "Old Palm Springs" of the 30's and 40's but newly remodeled with all the modern comforts. Upon entering the gates of the property you will imagine yourself arriving at a tropical villa in the Mexican Yucatan, as the property is lush with green vegetation.

The villa is located on a third of an acre with an all-grass lawn, tropical plants, large shade trees, fruit trees, and towering palms. The abundance of trees and vegetation make for a very private, secluded get-away.

The interior of the house is decorated in a Mexican hacienda/villa theme. Gorgeous, hand-painted, in-laid, decorative Mexican tile covers the floors in much of the house with carpeting in the living room and front two bedrooms.

The furniture of the villa is custom-made Mexican hardwood Mesquite and Encino--from the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Much of the wood is 100 years old and was obtained from the beams, doors, and other wooden structures of churches, shops, and farm houses in Old Mexico.

The master bedroom has an adjoining atrium and solarium that provides a relaxing location to lounge, read a novel, or to take a cozy nap.

The large dining room has a massive Mexican hardwood table that seats up to ten. An entire wall of windows gives the room an open, bright feel and offers a spectacular view of the lush patio and back yard.

The patio is shaded by a beautiful, expansive shade tree. The patio offers a barbecue grill, patio table and chairs, and a relaxing hammock for your enjoyment.

A gazebo is located next to the pool and spa. From its shady interior, bathers can relax in chaise lounges and gaze at the majestic mountain views to the west.

The villa is located in a quiet upscale neighborhood in south Palm Springs but is within walking distance to downtown with its many restaurants, shops, and casino. The mountains, Indian Canyons, and numerous golf courses are just minutes away.
