Our house located in the traditional village of Katouna, famous for its wonderful olive oil, mountain honey and superb wine. This fully restored 150-year-old rock walled house is overlooking the entire bay of the Lefkada and you will enjoy the cooler air of the mountain in the summer, having a refreshing drink by the private pool. Many European choose this village to settle their summerhouse for the charm of its little streets where kids can run and drive a bicycle without a car in the vicinity. The local tavern has special old world charm and a cuisine that specializes in fresh seafood catches as well as many others of its homemade Mediterranean dishes and wines. On weekends and special occasions live Greek music invites you to join the fun of dancing under the stars.

The most beautiful white sand beaches and crystal clear blue water are found here. You can visit the famous Castle of Santa Maura, right next to the channel built by John Orsini in 1300.You follow the eastern coast road passing through the villages of Ligia, Nikiana, and Nidri-this is one of the most popular holiday spots on the island. Next stop Vassiliki, Agios Nikita-picturesque fishing villages. Stop also in Karia, known for its traditional embroidery >From Nidri you can take a short ferry boat ride to Megenassi, Sparti, Maduro and Scorpios.
