conditioner and private tile bathroom with
shower. Every room - except the baths - has
a ceiling fan. Two bedrooms also have air
conditioners. High ceilings, rich woodwork
and comfortable furnishings describe the
decor.
The kidney shaped swimming pool with
aerobic depths is complemented by a terrace,
botanical garden and outlook to the landmark
mountain Isabel de Torres. The secluded,
tranquil setting has a gas barbecue, eating area
... and a waterfall!

The “Costambar”gated community has over a
mile of expansive white sand beach.
Complimentary breakfast
will be served to you each morning on one of several
terraces with panoramic ocean and mountain views.
There are several very good Costambar restaurants and
convenience shopping within walking distance of Casa
Obear.
Deep sea charters leave Puerto Plata every
morning for half day outings. Within the Costambar gated community is a
challenging 9-hole executive course (Los Mangos) and
pro shop. Championship Robt. Trent Jones courses are
15 and 90 minutes distant at Playa Dorada and Playa
Grande where the truly great new course with 10 holes
bordering the ocean cliffs is increasingly referred to as
the "Caribbean Pebble Beach."
Horseback riding and mountain tours are
conveniently arranged in Costambar. Snorkeling, Scuba Diving,
Sightseeing, and many other attractions are all nearby!
